How it all started
Our founder, former RAF engineer Roger Parrish, established Intone Design back in 1983 and since then we have developed an enviable reputation for inspired kitchen design and bespoke cabinetry. But despite our impressive success, the emphasis here remains on a personal approach which puts the customer at the centre of everything we do. Roger has since been joined in the business by his daughter Laura and son-in-law Matt who lead a dedicated team of designers, craftsmen and fitters based at our Lincolnshire HQ.
Life at Intone Design is very much a family affair and it shows. We care about each other and we care about our customers. Attention to detail and a passion for exemplary customer service lie at the heart of the Intone Design experience.
Meet the team
Roger Parrish, Managing Director
Roger has more than 40 years’ experience in the kitchen business and is passionate about exceeding his customers’ expectations. He keeps meaning to retire but he hasn’t quite got round to it yet! Outside of work, Roger enjoys spending time in Spain with his partner Maggie and renovating their cottage near Stamford.
Laura Deaton, Director
Laura is the linchpin of Intone Design and a font of knowledge when it comes to creating the perfect kitchen. She is married to Production Manager Matt and lives near Bourne with their two children. Laura enjoys horse riding and walks in the countryside with her dogs.
Matt Deaton, Production Manager
Matt runs the workshop and is a stickler for schedules! He ensures that customers’ timescales are always met. He is married to Director Laura and enjoys spending time at the weekend with her and their two children at the family home in Lincolnshire.
Lyn Venables, Interior Design Consultant
Friendly and approachable, interior designer Lyn is on hand to help you create a welcoming and harmonious home. A serial renovator, Lyn has worked her magic on a number of homes, before settling down in the beautiful town of Stamford. In her spare time, Lyn loves walking, reading and spending time with her family.
Sophie Hall, Designer
Sophie is your first port of call at the showroom and loves nothing more than helping you plan your dream kitchen. She’s a whizz at CAD drawings and will quickly create a 3D digital mock-up of your new kitchen to bring it to life. Sophie loves walking her dog, a cockapoo called Olive. At weekends you’ll find her cooking up a storm for family and friends.
